Cool Down

Cool Down

It is just as important to cool down and stretch it our post workout as it is to warm up pre workout. The difference is that the stretches we do post workout are static stretches and as such we focus on holding a position for 30 seconds to a minute to really relax and stretch out an area. Stretching in this manner can help limit the effect of DOMS (Delayed onset muscle soreness) as well as prevent injury and help with overall workout recovery.
